The Zayed National Museum, the national museum of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed its first visitors. The museum's gates saw a large influx of visitors during the opening hour, with tickets selling out completely. Visitors toured the six permanent exhibition halls, which tell the story of 300,000 years of human history on this land, rooted in the legacy of the nation's founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan. The museum launched its opening season program, featuring guided tours and live performances throughout the museum.
